  • Most affordable roof option
  • Roof pitch/angle can be customized
  • Dormers can be added to provide extra light or room

  • Roof has two different slopes
  • Lower slope of roof is slightly steeper than the upper slope of roof
  • Extra attic space for storage

  • Built on the side of a hill – hence the name, bank
  • Easily accessible (from 1st and 2nd floors)
  • Important to have the proper foundation for this style of barn (typically cement blocks filled with concrete or poured concrete walls)
  • Provides 2 full stories
  • More expensive to build
  • Cannot build on a level site
