Historic Oklahoma Track Ross Meadows
Ada, Pontotoc County, Oklahoma
Ross Meadows was formerly one of the largest non-parimutuel tracks in the U.S. and has been continually operating as a training facility since 1978. The training track is a 3/4 Mile 60'-70' Wide Oval which is a sand surface over clay base. Railing is pipe with offset posts on the Straight Away. This gorgeous property has tremendous potential to be converted into a premier private training center or equestrian ranch without the cost of having to construct the track and infrastructure. We are currently removing some old structures including one of the large barns. The barns were built in the early 80's and are still operational and rented for the most part, but new owner will likely want to construct some new stall facilities. Price for this facility approximates the value of the land and racetrack only excluding the barns. There are excellent building sites to construct new barns, arena, or additional structures. This property has beautiful building sites with elevation for a main house to be constructed overlooking the track. There are currently 5 large 48 Stall barns and 3 additional individual barns. A Seven (7) Space RV Park was constructed in 2020 at north end of property. There is approximately 40-60 acres of open land which can be fenced for pasture and/or turn out pens. Race track conditioning equipment including Water Truck, pumping equipment, and starting gates are included. Stalls and barns are currently rented to independent trainers. New owner can choose to continue the rental business or convert the property to a spectacular private ranch facility. Now, Also included in price is a brand new 7200 sf insulated equipment warehouse with 1000ft security fence on an adjacent 5 acre parcel on the Southwest corner of Property just recently constructed in 2021. BOTH LAND AND NEW WAREHOUSE BUILDING INCLUDED IN SALE.
